SINGAPORE — A new all-in-one integrated start-up space for entrepreneurs and investors in the tech building community was launched this morning (Feb 11) by Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim.

The new start-up facility, called BASH (Build Amazing Start-ups Here), is an initiative driven by Infocomms Investments Pte Ltd (IIPL), an investment arm of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).

Touted to be Singapore’s biggest, the facility spans across more than 25,000 sq ft on Level 3 of Block 79, Ayer Rajah Crescent. The location will provide a “go-to-place for tech builders, investors and innovators to do more great things together”, said Mr Steve Leonard, Executive Deputy Chairman of IDA and Chairman of IIPL.

“The Government is committed to building Singapore’s tech entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our aim is to cultivate start-up growth through the value chain, from ideation, acceleration, incubation to expansion to build a strong pipeline of Singapore tech start-ups. BASH will be Singapore’s biggest integrated start-up facility, where entrepreneurs, start-up accelerators, incubators and investors can tap on the complete spectrum of activities under one roof,” said Dr Yaacob.
