NEX mall, Innisfree at Waterway Point among places visited by cases in TTSH cluster during infectious period

SINGAPORE — South Korean cosmetic brand Innisfree's outlet at Waterway Point and NEX mall in Serangoon were among the places visited by cases in the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) cluster during their infectious period.

In its evening update on the coronavirus situation in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Sunday (May 2) that the infectious persons from the cluster had been to:

• NEX mall in Serangoon on April 18 between 3.40pm and 4.40pm

• Astons Steak & Salad in Marina Square on April 18 between 5.55pm and 7.15pm

  Innisfree at Waterway Point on April 20 between 10.05am and 8.35pm, on April 23 between 10.30am and 8.30pm, on April 24 between 10.30am and 9.20pm, on April 26 between 10.30am and 8.15pm, and on April 29 between 10.40am and 8.35pm

• 724 Ang Mo Kio Market on April 21 between 7.35pm and 8.30pm

• Umisushi at Tan Tock Seng Hospital on April 22 between 6pm and 6.45pm

• AMK Hub on April 25 between 3.55pm and 4.30pm

• DLLM Lok Lok at 171 MacPherson Road on April 28 between 6.15pm and 8.15pm

• Lickers at 124 Hougang Avenue 1 on April 28 between 8.50pm and 9.55pm

Apart from the eight locations, infectious persons who do not belong to the cluster had visited Me To Do Studio at 883 Woodlands Street 82 on April 29 between 9.30am and 11am.

MOH said that it would have already notified individuals who were identified as close contacts of the confirmed cases.

"As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit," it added.

"They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history."

Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether mobile application, SingPass app, or at https://wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.

Members of the public do not need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, MOH said.

The National Environment Agency will engage the management of the affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.

MOH reported 39 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on Sunday. Fourteen of these are in the community, of which 11 are from the TTSH cluster. The remaining 25 were imported.
