SDP unveils two more candidates for GE2015

SINGAPORE — The Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) today (Aug 28) unveiled two more candidates for the coming General Election. They are Mr Bryan Lim and Mr Damanhuri Abas.

Mr Lim, a hospital manager, heads the party's ground operations unit, which conducts activities such as walkabouts and house visits. He contested in Hong Kah in 2001.

Mr Damanhuri, the director of Muhammadiyah Islamic college, is a father of five. He said he has been active in the Malay community for more than 20 years and feels he can express the desires of the Malay community and Singapore community at large.

The party has unveiled six other candidates over the past few days - healthcare administrator Chong Wai Fung, accounts manager Khung Wai Yeen, sales director Jaslyn Go, professor of medicine Paul Tambyah, compliance auditor Sidek Mallek and psychology lecturer John Tan.
