Kit Chan to participate in I Am A Singer

SINGAPORE – We all know Kit Chan is a singer. Like, a really good one. But how does she compare among the best in the region? Well, we’ll soon find out. The 42-year-old will be participating in the third season of popular Chinese reality singing competition I Am A Singer, along with stars like Hong Kong’s Leo Ku, Taiwan’s A-Lin, as well as China’s Han Hong, Jane Zhang, Sun Nan and Anson Hu. The show will begin airing in China on Jan 2.
Previous participants of I Am A Singer include Hong Kong singer G.E.M. and Malaysian artiste Shila Amzah, who saw a big boost in their careers after the show. But the Singaporean songbird isn’t afraid to pit her skills against other heavyweights in the industry.
“I understand that the competition is a part of the show, but I am attracted to the stage and the challenge,” said Chan, who was initially reluctant to take part in the show. “More importantly, I hope to experience this at least once in my life. That is why I am here!”
