At least one killed, more than 60 injured after Iran strikes Kuwait airport

At least one person in Kuwait has died and more than 60 others injured, after Iranian drone and missile strikes hit the international airport and other civilian infrastructure. The attacks forced Kuwaiti authorities to divert flights and close the airport earlier today. Tehran's attacks mark an escalation for Kuwait, a close US ally that had seen relative calm since the temporary war ceasefire in April. The US and Iran have traded blame over the latest strikes.
