Hong Kong's new dog-friendly restaurant scheme to begin in July
Hong Kong is launching a new scheme to allow dogs inside restaurants. More than double the number applications have come in for just 1,000 permits available. It's good news for the city's animal lovers, but not everyone is keen to dine with dogs. Dogs will have to be leashed and kept off tables, and restaurants who want to be part of the new scheme cannot serve hotpot and barbecue. Businesses must also display a sign saying they allow dogs inside, so everyone is aware. Jeraldine Yap reports.
