More than 4,500 police officers and security personnel have been deployed as the Shangri-La Dialogue gets underway in Singapore. Defence chiefs and senior officials from more than 40 countries are attending high-level meetings, with discussions expected to focus on global security challenges and evolving defence partnerships.
