Singapore and Indonesia to jointly study tech sector in Batam, Bintan and Karimun

Singapore and Indonesia will jointly commission a study on the tech sector in the Bintan, Batam and Karimun region. The aim is to identify future opportunities and develop concrete recommendations to drive growth. Just a 40 to 90 minute ferry ride away from Singapore, the Bintan, Batam, Karimun region is a free trade zone with several special economic zones supporting industries like healthcare, electronics and aviation.
