Singapore and Vietnam deepen cooperation in advanced manufacturing, food security
Singapore and Vietnam will deepen cooperation in areas such as advanced manufacturing, food security and supply chain resilience. Several agreements have been signed as part of Vietnamese President To Lam's four-day state visit to Singapore. Both nations had elevated relations during Mr Lam's last visit over a year ago. A new Singapore-Vietnam Strategic Dialogue will also allow leaders and senior officials to discuss issues such as governance and public sector transformation. Bilateral trade in goods amounted to S$40 billion last year, with Singapore emerging as Vietnam's top foreign investor. Sabrina Ng reports.
